Because the purified R/O water is devoid of "ions" Renaissance's electrolyte consistently increases the TDS (minerals, anions and cations) to a range of 150 to 350 mg/l. The circuit board on our system controls the speed of the peristaltic pump and matches the water flow of your R/O system.

  • Renaissance electrolyte concentrate is made up of sodium and potassium bi-carbonate and sodium citrate.
  • Our electrolyte container is made of inert Nalgene plastic, is 250 ml in size, and the dry electrolyte is pre-measured and sealed.
  • Shelf life is indefinite at room temperature.
  • Re-constitute a new electrolyte container with your R/O water, "not" with tap water and fill to the measuring line on the electrolyte container, gently shake, then let stand for about 30 minutes or until all the electrolyte powder dissolves. Now connect the re-constituted electrolyte solution to the Renaissance water system.
  • Every 30 days if you do not use all of the electrolyte concentrate solution, empty the liquid and dispose of the Nalgene container in the re-cycle bin.
